This modern hotel is most pleasing to the eye, and its spacious entrance lobby is impressive. The rooms are large and very well equipped to a high standard. The restaurant is large, and the food very good. Large outdoor swimming pool, and good sitting area around pool.
Situated in the heart of Golden Sands, it is within easy walking distance to the shops and beach, though it is situated on the hillside. I don't think it would be suitable for people with walking difficulties.
Its central location makes it attractive for the mobile visitor. The resort of Golden Sands has become one of my favourites, and a place I would very much like to visit again.
To enjoy this hotel, you will need to get there, and you'll want to fly there at the best possible price. Visit this website to
find out how you can buy your flights at the best prices. Remember, if
you can book cheap flights, you will have more money to spend on your
visit to the Black Sea resort of Golden Sands. So go here right now, and get the surprise of your life!

Hotel Shipka, Golden Sands, Bulgaria

will appreciate the wireless Internet access and they can also take
advantage of the room and laundry services for an additional fee.
Parking is available for those arriving by car.
This hotel enjoys a convenient location almost in the centre of the Golden Sands resort, about 200 m from the beach. Guests will find the nearest nightspots just some 50 m away and it is about 100 m to shops, restaurants and bars. Links to the public transport network are around 150 m and it is some 600 m to Aquapolis, about 1 km to the Golden Sands Park, around 1.5 km to the Golden Sands natural park and approximately 2.5 km to the Aladzha Monastery. Varna is some 17 km away and it is about 30 km to Varna Airport.
All rooms come with a private bathroom with a shower/bathtub and a hairdryer and offer a double bed. They are equipped with a telephone, satellite TV and a mini fridge. Furthermore, individually regulated air conditioning and a balcony feature in all accommodation as standard. This hotel features indoor and outdoor swimming pools, including a children's swimming area. Guests can relax at the poolside snack bar or on the sun terrace with its sun loungers and parasols. The on-site facilities include a hot tub, a sauna (both for an additional fee) and massage and spa treatments are available, such as mud treatments and anti-stress procedures (charges apply). It is also possible to enjoy a game of table tennis or pool/snooker. Moreover, sun loungers and parasols are available for hire on the nearby sandy beach.
* Some services at an extra charge
This is a really lovely hotel that is kept immaculately clean by staff. Rooms are adequate, and easily accessed by lifts to all floors. The marble entrance hallway is palatial, with a good number of soft sofas and seats. Restuarant is very good, with a rich variety of food, though when you get into the second week, it becomes a bit bland. In-house entertainment is virtually non-existent, though there is adequate entertainment in the resort.
Situated at the end of the shopping area, it is a short walk (about 200m) to the long beach. There are many sidewalk shops with plenty to interest everyone.
The resort is quite extensive, with plenty to attract and hold attention. The weather is usually very hot, but the one visit I had to Golden Sands (in late September) saw torrential rain which flooded the streets, though it dried up very quickly afterwards.
The only downside to the area around Hotel Shipka are the dozens of young prostitutes who ply their trade just up from the hotel.
I've been to Golden Sands three times, and enjoyed every moment of my visits there.

Hotel Review
The purpose of this blogsite is to give visitors reliable information on hotels that I have used in various parts of the world. This will be a useful, though limited, resource.
As the blogsite builds, please feel free to add your comments because you might not agree with everything I will write. This will make the site interactive, therefore more profitable for those who visit it.
One of the unique aspects of this site is its inclusion of the location of a website that can help you secure the very best deal on your flights, and also by way of free bonus, on hotels, car hire, etc.
Oh, and by the way, if you are visiting Northern Ireland from elsewhere, you will want to book your flights at the best prices. To book through travel agents adds cost because they will have their commission. To get the best prices, please click here and make your trip memorable. Knowing how to get the right flight for the right price is an art, so click on this link and see where it takes you.
